‘Underworld 3′ Synopsis

With no where else forward to go following Underworld: Evolution, the aforementioned prequel is being hurried into production. Check this out from Variety:

“In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, Sonja (Mitra), in his battle against the Death Dealer army and his struggle for Lycan freedom.”

SFX guy Patrick Tatopoulos (who created creatures for the franchise) will direct Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, and Rhona Mitra. Len Wiseman will produce instead of direct this time around while franchise stars Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman will be spectators just like the rest of us.
