Duplicity vs. Know1ng vs. Galactica

On one hand this weekend, you have the Clive Owen and Julia Roberts film Duplicity, where a CIA spy teams with an MI-6 operative to dupe their employers or perhaps each other. It could be the next Ocean’s 11 or another abysmal After the Sunset, so let the buyer beware. Ace in the hole: Paul Giamatti and Clive Owen were awesome in Shoot ‘Em Up.

For those looking for intrigue without the romantic entanglement, director Alex Proyas unleashes Know1ng starring Nic Cage. Unlike Next where Cage could see variations of his own future, this time a cryptic letter contains information about disasters past and future. Can Cage once again save himself, his family, and others because he can see the future coming?

And for those of us who’ve been sucked into the re-imagining of “Battlestar Galactica” on the SciFi Channel, tonight is the big one. No more secrets, no more hooks, no more skinjobs’ dirty looks. We know the ship won’t survive the two-hour finale, but who will go down with her?
