The Oscars are over, and the book (finally) closes on 2019.

Parasite took Best Picture with Best Directing going to Bong Joon Ho along with International Picture and Original Screenplay.

Joaquin Phoenix took Best Actor for Joker. Renée Zellweger took Best Actress for Judy. Brad Pitt finally received an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Laura Dern with Best Supporting Actress for Marriage Story.

With ten nominations, The Irishman was shut out.
